New video for 'Pio Pio'

Here's our brand new video by Nick Ainsworth and Lucy Jones. DIG!

Opava, eastern Czech Republic

We just came across this photo of us playing in Opava in the eastern Czech Republic in May this year. One of the highlights of our tour and Nick is sporting a pretty lame three-week beard.

That Bandcamp

Download a free song - 'Pio Pio' - from our album by clicking the headline above and going to our bandcamp. You can also buy the rest of the album there, if you dig the free taster.

Blow away Dandelion

Invoking Stones lyrics in a headline by way of letting you know that our record is the 'featured album' on Jeff Grainger's show on Dandelion Radio this month. The show is repeated at intervals throughout August, ending on 31st. Also, we just recorded three songs for a session for the October edition of the same show, so listen up for that. We did a stripped back cover version of one of the more well known rock'n'roll greats of the early '70s, but we'll say no more for now.

Upcoming shows

Fri 12th August - Trash-o-Rama, Manchester w/The Bell Peppers
Thurs 18th August - Kraak Gallery, Manchester w/Ste McCabe + Maria & The Gay
Sat 27th August - Fuel, Withington, Manchester w/McLean Beckwith
Sat 29th Oct - The New Continental, Preston w/The Nightingales

More TBA...

Float Riverer LP OUT NOW!

Hey, our brand new, first LP is out now. 12 new recordings. Here's what Norman Records say in their review:

"The man here has a nice yelp. He's yelping right out of his box, whereas the drumming lass Kate has a cool sassy wonky voice that matches this scratchy, stripped-back lo-fi garage beautifully... They're from Manchester these two and the ever-on-the-ball Everett True has been slobbering all over them... Must also mention that they save the best track - the possessed, wired Fall-esque 'Night on the Void' - until the end of the album... Formerly these people were in such fine trans-Pennine underground bands as Hotpants Romance and I Had an Inkling so there you go!!"

Yeah and they give it five stars too which is a lotta stars if you like stars. If you wanna order one, send £12.99 inc p&p (UK), £14.99 inc p&p (Europe) or £17.99 inc p&p (USA/Canada/Rest of World) by paypal to goldenlabrecordings@hotmail.co.uk

Peace!
